Primetime BBC1 commission secured

The BBC’s Martin Davidson has commissioned Dangerous to make Super Doctors, a primetime BBC-1 documentary series.

Fronted by Professor Robert Winston, the series examines the personal and professional decisions faced by doctors and patients at the edge of frontier medicine. The commission follows a thorough development stage between Dangerous, Davidson and Emma Swain, the then-Factual commissioner.

It has gone into preproduction, and is due to transmit in the latter half of 2008.
