Human Body: Pushing the Limits premiers on Discovery Channel
On Sunday March 2, Dangerous’ much-anticipated
HUMAN BODY: PUSHING THE LIMITS series premiered on Discovery Channel in the US. The multi-million dollar production has been in production over a year, and sees perfect marriage of cutting-edge science and breathtaking CGI.
The series premiered against OPRAH’S BIG GIVE, the highest-rated show that evening. Despite the heavy competition, it brought in an exceptionally strong number. It ranked third in the M18-49 ratings for the night among ad-supported cable. P25-54 ratings were up by 42% against 1Q08 nightly norms. The tough P18-34 portion was an outstanding 80% above slot average, showing the increase across both men and women.
